Alert: Fraudulent Employment Offers
We have recently seen an increase in fraudulent employment scams being conducted within our industry. On some occasions, these scams have used our good company name in their efforts to deceive you. The goal of these fraudulent activities is to solicit personal information from overseas applicants under the guise of potential employment with legitimate American companies. These solicitations typically offer high paying salaries and generous bonus structures to individuals that haven't even applied for positions with the company in question. Fraudulent websites that look similar to (cloned) our actual www.chiefog.com website have been used in some of these attempts, as have phony email and phone solicitations.

Chief Oil & Gas does not have any overseas interests, nor do we have any overseas offices, as we are a Texas based company with 100% of our operations centered within the continental United States.

When we do hire, we would never make a cold employment offer to an applicant sight unseen, nor would we require any type of monetary outlay during the hiring process. Engage in these activities at your own risk.
